Jump and run game

Description

For a school project, my team and I developed a jump-and-run game using the Unreal Engine. Our focus was on creating an exciting and challenging gameplay experience.

One of the key aspects of our game was the implementation of enemies. We designed various types of enemies with unique behaviors and attack patterns to provide engaging obstacles for the player to overcome. This added an element of strategy and skill to the gameplay.

To enhance replayability, we incorporated procedural level generation. This allowed us to create dynamically generated levels with different layouts, platforms, and obstacles each time the player restarted the game. This ensured that each playthrough offered a fresh and unique experience.

By leveraging the power of the Unreal Engine, we were able to create visually appealing environments, immersive sound effects, and smooth character movements. The engine's advanced tools and features enabled us to bring our vision to life and deliver a high-quality game experience.

Throughout the project, teamwork was essential. We collaborated closely, dividing tasks, sharing ideas, and providing feedback to ensure that the final product was cohesive and polished.
